A beautiful backdrop and fabulous lodging made this a family trip to remember. The chalet is comfortable and has many amenities to enjoy as well as being a short walk, train ride or bus into town. The reservation specialist, Rebecca, was available to help with all of our needs and the host and hostess, Duncan and Tiah, were knowledgeable and helpful at all times. The meals were served on time and were delicious. We were there at Christmas, and the Chalet was decorated and the Christmas dinner was excellent. The Chalet and the staff both receive highest ratings from me.

Chalet Chocolat is a fantastic chalet in a great location with breath taking views from every angle. A fully catered chalet with hot tub, airport transfers included, amazing food and first class hosts. Kaz or Ben dropped us at the resort of our choice every morning and offered to collect us each day. Getting shuttled to the lifts each morning gets the day off to a flyer and most days we were one of the first on the mountain. Chamonix valley has a lot to offer and having the option of a pick up at the end of a hard days riding or skiing is an invaluable part of the service on offer at Chalet Chocolat. Ben and Ruth are amazing hosts and take real pride in all they do with nothing being too much trouble. If you are planning a trip to Chamonix then look no further than Chalet Chocolat as it is one of the best chalets we have stayed in. Ruth’s cooking is absolutely brilliant and not to be out done Ben conjures up a mean cake each afternoon. Rooms are en-suite spacious, modern and all have flat screen tv and Xbox as standard. The 15 min walk into town is really pleasant however the guys are on hand to offer guests a shuttle if required. If your Chamonix bound make sure its Chalet Chocolat.

We stayed in Chalet Chocolat this March, I cannot recommend them highly enough. The Chalet itself is spacious, well equipped with good sized well appointed ensuite rooms, as well as TVs, Wi-fi, hot tub, fussball table, games and gadgets to keep you occupied. The chalet is a 20ish minute walk into the centre of Chamonix, however this is not too far for a stroll after a couple of beers, and buses and train are on your doorstep should you wish. The location gives beautiful views of the mountains to front and rear. On top of the excellent facilities, it was the people at Chalet Chocolat who added the most to our stay. Ben, Ruth, Kaz and Jon were helpful, friendly and really helped us make the most out of our week, whether it be from providing good local knowledge, flexible transfers to the slopes and back and very good food, I would not hesitate to recommend it. What a great find; Chalet Chocolat was recommended to me by a friend and it was every bit as good as I was told. The chalet is spacious enough that 10 of us did not feel like we were on top of each other. The hot tub was fantasitc and the views just like on the website. The food was top quality and our hosts, Ruth & Ben, couldn't do enough. Very laid back feel all round. We got the best of both worlds too - skiing in the morning and sun bathing in the afternoon :) Would definetely go back and would recommend for any large group. Stayed April 2011

Hard work to find nothing wrong with the chalet, staff and professionalism of all involved in Rudechalets. We felt genuinely welcome from the start to the end. We have spent more money in other resorts, in other countries for perceived better service, but the service here was first class throughout the week. Yes, there is Xbox etc in each room, but as a more mature skier with no need for that kind of stuff, there was no "Dude, Awesome" routine but extremely high service, helpfulness and standards held. Including lifts to the resorts, bars and pickups.

The chalet is awesome with xboxes in every room and a xbox connect in the living area. The outdoor spa was a godsend especially after a hard day's snowboarding. The food was excellent and beds were very comfortable. Bathrooms were spacious and clean. From the moment we landed to the moment we left, Ben, Ruth and Kaz made our stay a pleasure. Nothing was too difficult for them. They helped us arrange everything from transfers to lift passes and equipment hire. My partner and I stayed at Chalet Chocolat over Christmas 2010. It was without a doubt the best place we have ever stayed. The Chalet was immaculate with all the toys you could possibly play with (x-box kinetic, foosball table, hot tub, skate/surf/snowboard and regular movies). The food was sensational. We didnt have to do a thing all week. The staff were outstanding, They organised our ski hire and lift passes for us, drove us to and from the ski lifts at whatever time we liked and when the bindings on my snowboard broke(twice) one phonecall and it was promptly fixed. Nothing was too difficult for them, they even rescheduled our aiport transfer for us with 40 minutes notice. If you're going to Chamonix STAY HERE. Stayed December 2010, travelled as a couple

“Didn't have to lift a finger or think about anything - perfect holiday- 11 August 2009 We visited Chalet Chocolat in April this year.. I was a little nervous about being in Chamonix as i was used to smaller resorts although it absolutely blew my doubts away. The chalet was great,very cool, very comfortable and had everything we needed. The location was fine and although a little way out of town we enjoyed the light evening walks into the centre and didn't mind the walk home after a night out. The view from the chalet is spectacular and the hot tub divine; The two combined make for a picture perfect experience. The shuttle service to and from the resorts was great and we didn't need to worry about getting the buses at all. The hosts were fantastic and the food was great. I will definitely be holidaying there again.
